One of the most unique features of the AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow Mask is its top-of-the-head tubing connection with 360° swivel. Nasal pillows on with hose connection on top of my head do mot irritate my face like the nose mask did. Better sleep not having hose on front of my face.

.I'll stick with P10
I'm new to CPAP (5 months) and learning a lot about the machines and masks and settings. I quickly discovered that Nasal Pillows work best for me and the P10 has been good - so far. A friend suggested Direct Home Medical and this was my first order. I was curious if the top of head connection design (P30i) would be better than the very basic looking P10, but it wasn't. For me, the ease and simplicity of the P10 just makes the process so much less hassle, and I get a really good seal that's light and comfortable. The order process and shipping from Direct Home Medical was easy and fast, plus the 30 night trial / return policy made it a no-brainer to give a new pillow/headgear design a try. I'm sticking with the P10.

.ResMed AirFit F30i vs Airfit P30i
I started with the ResMed AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP Mask and hated every second I had to wear it. It was hell trying to get a seal on the mask, which blow into my eyes and made them dry and irritated. I had to put medical white tape under my nose and along the sides of my nostrils to prevent chapping. I tried using all three mask sizes and the wide worked the best but the hard plastic on the mask still dug into my cheeks. I had fought all night with the F30i and I never felt rested and was always tired during the day. ResMed Airfit P30i Nasal Pillows Mask has been the best for me. It is very comfortable and the nasal pillows are soft and flexible providing a leak free seal. I have had a little irrtation in one of my nostrils but I been using vasaline at night and it has help. I have been sleeping four plus hours a night and feel rested during the day. It took some training for me to keep from breathing through my mouth when using the nasal pillows ( I now make sure that I'm only breathing through my nose during the day). Well that is all I can say, others may like the F30i better, I just found the P30i works for me.

.The AirFit P30i is a dream
I have struggled for years with CPAP headgear. It's either too tight, too loose, leaks, makes noise, blows air in my face, whatever. Kept up all night adjusting a mask. It completely defeated the purpose of helping me sleep better. I absolutely hated wearing it. Until this one. The hose connection being on top of the head is a genius idea, for one thing. I'm a side sleeper and this is perfect for anyone (side or back), plus it keeps the air exhaust out of your face. The nose pillows are comfortable and do not leak. There's no eye or face blockage with this mask either. I would highly recommend this mask.

.Ugly but works great
It looks like I have The Alien attached to my face at night, but it really works much better for me than any other mask I tried. Without a CPAP machine, I average about 15 AHI. With this mask, I’m now averaging 2.5 AHI, whereas with the two previous masks I seriously tried out, the best I could do was about 7 AHI. If you toss and turn in your sleep, this one stays on (and stays attached well enough to function) much better than the nasal masks that have the hose coming straight out from your face. I wish it were more comfortable, but it’s marginally OK in that regard. And, for me, any mask that will stay on for my first ~5 hours of sleep every night has to grasp my head well enough that a bit of discomfort is inevitable.

.Extreme Comfort
Featherweight, extremely comfortable and quiet. Can be a challenge to put on in the dark, but the quick release hose port eliminates the need to remove it at night when nature calls. Clear field of vision while wearing is convenient for reading or watching tv. I especially like the pressure relief port being located on the top of the headgear, eliminating air blowing on a bedmate (enhances spooning)!

.Ow. Just Ow.
First, the design & headset is great, I do like that. The low rating is because the nasal pillows were, to be kind, painful. Since I had a nasal pillow design before, where each pillow was individually adjustable, I had no problems at all being comfortable. So I was looking forward to this new design. However, these aren't adjustable. As a result, no one size actually fit correctly, leading to irritation in the nose, and eventually a laceration. I tried using white petroleum (Vaseline) to prevent this, but to no avail. Sadly I had to stop using the mask due to the pain and irritation it caused. I do like nasal pillow masks, sadly the lack of ability to adjust the position of the pillows means this mask isn't for me, and just isn't as useful as it can be.

.WOW! Best Mask Ever!
Puts EVERY single other mask to shame, including the Phillips Respironics DreamWear. Super soft and super comfortable mask. I have been through over a dozen masks or more in the last 12 years, even skipping using my CPAP due to the dreaded mask. I was accidentally introduced to this mask during a current sleep study. The first night was a little different, then I fell in love! ONLY issue is the hose and that is Resmed, not this mask thats the issue. Resmed needs to make a softer, less rigid hose with softer more flexible plastic. The mask is super comfortable, soft gel construction, soft nasal piece and I forget I am wearing it at all. I HIGHLY recommend giving this one a try. Especially if you are like me and have been through tons of other masks and mask types. You will definitely not regret trying this one out!

.Extremely comfortable
I have been using a Phillips Respironics DreamWear for over a year with no major complaints but it leaked here and there when I slept on my side and was not real comfortable and it was time for new nose pillows and I noticed the P30i and boy am I glad I did! It is by far a superior product! To be honest I was skeptical of the description because it sounded to good to be true but to my surprise it was right on the mark. The springfit frame is much more comfortable than the Phillips DreamWear from the first time I put it on. It seems better made and more thoughtfully designed overall from the easy on off design to the to the next-generation QuietAir vent on the front of the pillow which truly diffuses airflow exhaust and does not blow directly onto my wife like the Phillips Dreamwear. The nasal pillows are also very soft and comfortable in the nose and I have not had a leak. I can't say enough about this mask, I absolutely love it!
