Description
INTELLIGENT & QUIET OPERATION
AirSense 10's whisper quiet, Easy-Breathe motor makes for a peaceful environment for you and your bed partner. In addition AirSense 10 has an ambient light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the amount of light in the room. So if you get up during the night and need to pause your therapy, the screen will stay dim so it doesn't disrupt your partner. The screen's back light also turns off automatically to help you fall back to sleep without disturbance.
BUILT-IN HUMIDAIR HUMIDIFIER
Heated humidification helps patients to sleep better and longer, without dry mouth or discomfort, during CPAP therapy. ResMed's HumidAir Humidifier is built directly into the AirSense 10 so it is much smaller and simpler than other "integrated" humidifier options. The AirSense's HumidAir humidifier is easily adjustable from the "My Options" screen on the device. You can turn humidity off completely or choose levels from 1 to 8, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 8 is the highest.
EXPIRATORY PRESSURE RELIEF (EPR)
ResMed's EPR (Expiratory Pressure Relief) feature reduces the work of breathing during exhalation providing a gentler pressure that naturally adapts to your breathing cycle throughout the night. EPR can be turned off entirely or you can choose levels from 1 to 3, where 1 is the minimum pressure relief and 3 is the maximum.
AUTORAMP WITH SLEEP ONSET DETECTION
AirSense 10's AutoRamp feature with sleep onset detection helps make therapy comfortable from the moment you turn on your device. AutoRamp works by delivering a low pressure to help you fall asleep with ease. Once it detects you're asleep, it comfortably increases the pressure to ensure your prescribed level is delivered the moment you need it.
SMARTSTART & AUTO STOP CONVENIENCE
The AirSense 10's SmartStart function begins your sleep apnea therapy as soon as you breathe into your mask. When you remove your mask, it stops automatically after a few seconds. Really, what could be more simple!
SLIM & HEATED TUBING OPTIONS
AirSense 10 CPAP comes with ResMed's ultra-light SlimLine CPAP tubing which is 40% lighter than traditional CPAP tubing. To optimize your HumidAir Humidifier's capabilities upgrade to ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing in your shopping cart.
CLIMATE CONTROL WITH CLIMATELINEAIR TUBING
When you use ClimateLineAir Tubing with the AirSense 10 the system's advanced Climate Control features are activated. Climate Control is an intelligent system that adapts to changes in room temperature, pressure flow, and mask and mouth leak, to provide constant, comfortable temperatures and humidity levels during sleep therapy. With Climate Control and ClimateLineAir Tubing your machine will maintain a set temperature and relative humidity at the mask while you sleep while minimizing condensation and rainout.
BASIC THERAPY REPORTING & ON SCREEN DISPLAY
AirSense 10's onboard "Sleep Report" is a valuable tool letting you know how your therapy is progressing each day. In the Sleep Report you can view basic therapy data like usage hours, mask seal indicators, humidification indicators, and AHI.
AirSense 10 includes onboard therapy data storage with built in wireless communications so you and your doctor can review therapy progress and work together to ensure your treatment is progressing successfully. An optional SD Data Card is available to extend data storage capabilities.
MYAIR PERSONALIZED THERAPY SUPPORT
Like your own sleep coach, ResMed's new optional online program, myAir, provides support during every stage of treatment. By giving you access to your therapy data, it lets you continually track your progress and see how well you're doing. Emails or text messages can also provide helpful education and encouragement to support you along the way. As you mark your successes and celebrate your milestones with awards and badges, you'll stay motivated to keep going. Patients can view their sleep data from the previous night using the myAir dashboard. Intuitive icons and charts make the dashboard simple to understand and follow.

.Not as good as the S9
I replaced my Resmed S9 with this unit because the S9 went kerput. While I'm sure the technology has improved over the S9, it appears the ergonomics have taken a step backward. First, refilling the water reservoir now requires two awkward steps, First, the reservoir requires removal from the device, and then the reservoir requires opening a very troublesome latch to fill. In the S9, I simply had to lift the lid and pour in the water, very easy to do at night in the dark. Second, the on/off switch is very small and located in the middle of the machine, and difficult to see at night. The S9 had a large button on the end and close to the bed that was easy to see and push in the dark. I would not recommend this machine due to these issues.

Good machine if you are deaf. I have had 3 and will get a 4th and keep getting new ones until I get one that is quiet. The motor wines and changes it's tone when you breath in and out. It is very annoying.

This is a fantastic machine! I'm very pleased. It's extremely quiet and the self-adjusting feature is amazing. I wake up feeling very well-rested. I also love the bright LED control panel. This is my 3rd ResMed machine. As for Direct Home Medical, my experience was phenomenal. Great customer service is so hard to find these days. Direct Home Medical's is second to none! After I placed my order, I was notified that my prescription did not list my pressure settings for the machine that I ordered. The company kindly upgraded me to the AUTO-ADJUSTING model for no additional charge. The initial price that I paid was already the lowest price I could find. But the upgrade blew me away. I couldn't be happier with my machine or the great customer service at Direct Home Medical.

I live in a very dry climate, and I need high pressure. The humidity tank leaks, constantly. The company will not replace. The mask does not fit the contours of my face well and will leak dry air straight into my eye very easily. The only upside is that it is very quiet

I replaced my old cpap with this one. It was awful. It pulsates when apnea symptoms start which wakes me up and gets me to breathe again however this is the same problem as apnea. Waking up several times a night. I got really depressed and couldn’t get up in the morning. Changed back to my old cpap And after 2 nights, no depression or Antietam and no issues trying to wake up. Must be this machine.
