AirMini Ultra Portable Auto-CPAP Machine Package

Great machine for travel. I did buy the humidity filters which work but they substantially increase the noise level.

Just back from a 4 week trip and the AirMini with the N30 mask was just perfect for me and took up so little space. I should qualify by saying that I am only at pressure 6 and that the air noise from the HumidX is distracting the first few nights, but the HumidX provides great humidity comparable to my Airsense 11's water tank. The iPhone software is ridiculously bad as is the customer support for it. I was traveling in China and the software refuses to use the time/date on the phone - but instead is always set to the original home location. Thus, when sleeping, part of my hourse were considered one day and part considered another as the software couldn't figure out that I was asleep for X continuous hours. My sleep numbers were thus meaningless. The support people claim this is "as designed" and I should speak to my sleep specialist. Hello? This is a TRAVEL device. It needs to adapt to whatever time zone you are sleeping in. Also, as others have reported, ResMed has no means of combining data from two machines - the AirMini and the AirSense - in one app. Sleep physician must have the numbers for each machine and must also pull up data separately for each machine. Great machines, but these guys need to hire some real software people. The lack of usable numbers from the iPhone app doesn't alter the fact that the device itself works well and great for travel due size, function and easy setup/packing.

Works as advertised. good for use in the long plane travel because of portability and ambient noise. need to get use to noise from the hose. Louder than Airsense 10. Have not tried P10 with humididification filter. Sound muffler does work and makes it more comfortable. will use it as a backup

Have not been able to control air which in turn causes me to wake up frequently.

Love this for travel but it could be used for every night. Glad I purchased it even though a bit noisier than my Air Sense 11. You get used to it quickly.

I really loved this portable cpap and wanted it to work for travel! My only problem was that it did not have a way to warm the air. It was great in every other aspect. If you don't need warmed air, I would definitely recommend this! The folks at Direct Home Medical were very helpful, and I will certainly order from them again.

My hose didn’t work well so will use the that was sent

I have the airsense 10 for my home use. I tried the Breas Z2 for awhile and didn't get the best sleep or therapy with it. I switched over to the Resmed Airmini and it is just like my home machine. I bought the adapter so I can use a regular hose and the same mask I use at home. Perfect. I don't know the difference when sleeping between the 2 Resmed machines.

It was nice to go on vacation for two weeks.Don’t have to bring distilled water with me. The air mini work great

Not a good a good choice to use for travel compared to the Aircure 10 ASV.

I am impressed with how small and light the AirMini actually is! Also, the individual in customer service was extremely helpful, professional, and courteous she was. The only suggestion for improvement is the headgear. I far prefer the air hose attach at the top of my head rather than under my nose.

Does an excellent job. Slept very well. Was quiet also.

This little device works as advertised. You can't go wrong with ResMed!

I travel a lot for work. I've ended up using this machine full time, when I'm away from home or not. Love the humidifier disk that gets replaced once a month. I don't miss the hassle of distilled water that other cpap machines require. I highly recommend this machine.

Got it for use traveling and used it at home for a couple nights with the humidity device inserted to see how it worked and it worked just fine except it really doesn’t provide as much humidity as the standard machine with the water reservoir seems to

I love the size which makes it great for traveling. I was concerned it would be noisy but it is no louder than my ResMed 10 machine.

This was an easy process and the AirMini arrived quick and packaged well.

Everyone who has an Airmini, or read reviews of Airmini, know of the "Darth Vader" breathing noise coming from the mask exhaust. I'm new to CPAP (6 months) and love my Airsense 11 for home use, but dont want the bulk when traveling by plane. Airmini solves the bulk problem of the Airsense 11, but creates a noise problem the 11 doesn't have. Hence the enigma of the Airmini, and since I travel alot it became a quest to solve the problem. I've been fortunate to test-drive a friends Airmini for a few months and tried many different masks, hoses, and settings with Airmini (thanks to Direct Home Medical for the 30 night mask trial period). Yet no combination of the above reduced the Darth Vader noise to a level of quiet sleep comfort. Before giving up I decided to try the Q-lite muffler and I think I've found the magic combination! (at least for me). Here's my Airmini travel setup in order: Airmini with Zephair adapter. -> Q-lite muffler. -> 4ft slimline hose connected to 6ft slimline hose**. -> Inline HME filter. -> P10 nasal pillow mask (not the special Airfit P10, just the standard P10 that I use with my Airsense 11). **If I'm on a long-haul flight and using the Airmini then I'll pack the 6ft hose in my luggage cause you only need 4ft hose on the plane, but adding the 6ft hose in the hotel allows placement of the Airmini at various plug outlet locations in different hotel room situations, and it moves the Airmini motor noise away from the nightstand (you now have a 10ft hose!). This combination has significantly reduced, but not eliminated, Darth Vader mask exhaust noise to the point of being only slightly louder than my P10 + Airsense 11. I have a simple db meter app on my iphone and measured 5 to 6 db mask noise reduction by just adding the Q-lite muffler. That's really impressive! As a result, I purchased the Airmini for my own use (from DHM of course) knowing I can now sleep without needing earplugs or white noise apps.
