Description
For use with inhaled steroids, as well as long-acting and rescue pressurized metered dose inhaler (pMDI) medications, the OptiChamber Diamond is designed for ease of use and to support compliance. OptiChamber Diamond's mouthpiece and anti-static VHC potentially allow more respirable drug to be delivered to the patient than with a pMDI alone.
OptiChamber Diamond can be paired with the detachable LiteTouch VHC face mask which is designed to provide comfort and an optimal facial seal. The mask uses a unique design that molds a clear, hard shell to an exclusive soft-seal interface that contours to the face with a minimum amount of pressure to promote aerosol therapy comfort and compliance.

.A game changer
This holding chamber is so useful. Even with careful rinsing after using my inhalers I would still occasionally get thrush but that is a thing of the past thanks to this holding chamber. I think it is a good value for the cost and lasts a LONG time.

This product has reduced the occurrences of thrush that I normally have. I also noticed that there was no scratchy throat after use. I bought this product to get more medication into my lungs and to reduce and eliminate the occurrences of thrush that caused my glands to swell and other problems. It worked and I am very pleased.

.Easy, Effective (and Entertaining!)
The Optichamber is easy to use, delivering the inhaler meds with no fuss. I love two features especially: the chamber has stopped occurrences of Thrush from the Cortisone in my inhaler (I always rinse AND gargle after use, but I did that prior to getting the chamber); second, the valve makes a musical tone if you inhale too quickly ensuring that you use it to maximize its effect. My wife jokes that this is my Pitch Pipe, and she begins humming along with it if I set it off. Very entertaining and makes it kind of fun to use, despite the serious nature of the COPD medication. Thanks for a great product.

.Valve stays open/malfunctioning
This would be such a great spacer if the valve stayed closed when not in use but it stays open, defeating the purpose of a spacer. I was able to find my old one that's a different brand but I've wasted money on this one. There are also black specks on the valve, I've washed it and they don't come off.

I got mine from the hospital and it’s lasted for 2 years. Not sure how long they should last but the plastic cracked on the mouth piece. Will order a new one. Little pricey but I might treat myself. Lung disease is no fun, so why not have the right equipment to deal with it.

I have had two opti-chambers in all the years I have used asthma meds. I kept forgetting to get a new script for them when they would get old and didn't actually know that I could get them without a script. Well, I found this one, which is shorter than the old one and easily ordered for cash purchase, and it is great. It is short enough to fit in my purse without sticking out the top and the cap on the output side is attached so it doesn't get lost. My previous old one was so old it was not just cloudy but scratched and cracked to boot. Having a new one that is at a more useful size is fun.
