USAGE: Pads for the CPAP Tube Cleaning Wand are pre-moistend for quick and easy use. Pads should always be stored in their original container to ensure they are moist when used. Using a dry pad to clean your tubing may reduce cleaning effectiveness and cause problems with the pad and/or wand getting stuck. Each cleaning pad should be used once and then discarded.

I had the wand for the cleaning pads and tried to use just the thin CPAP wipes after I'd run out of pads. The wipe would come out in the middle of the tube and then it was a hassle to get it out. This works well both for wiping the nose piece of the mask as well as on the wand. It's more expensive to do it this way but worth it. I wash my tubing in super hot water once a week (which is all my maintenance schedule calls for) but for extra hygiene, I use these every other day.
