Once clean it should be allowed to dry out completely, out of direct sunlight and/or heat, before reinstalling in your sleep therapy device. Replace as needed on average every 3-6 months. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

I feel it’s a poor design. The plastic piece that locks it into the machine is fragile. My first one broke off and I had to fish it out. I had to put weight on top to allow it to function while I waited for my replacement part.
