I wanted it primarily for camping but the instructions said you could not use an inverter to power the humidifier. When I use the travel cpap and humidifier I am quite satisfied.

.So Quiet!
Without humidification since I use nasal pillows, my nostrils and sinuses get very dry and irritation so I needed to get this humidifier for my Transcend. Although it is a little large, it is so quiet that I have been using it instead of my noisy old full sized machine. And my nose is not irritated. With the larger travel bag, it will not be too much for me to take both on my vacations.

.CPAP Humidifier
Had been using my travel machine without a humidifier for a year - this humidifier has really improved my sleep. It's a little larger than I had hoped, but works great!

.Works well but is BIG for travel
I bought the Auto Transcend recently for my trip to Ecuador. It worked great in Ecuador because they have 80% humidity on the coast. However when I returned to the dry air in New England, I needed to add the humidifier. It works well, but is 3 times the size of the Auto Transcend CPAP. So the next time I travel, I will definitely put it in my checked bag rather than carry-on bag. It also needs a separate electrical cord in addition to the CPAP cord which is different from all the other CPAP machines I have used.
