Sanitizing Filter Bag for Sleep8 CPAP Sanitizers (DISCONTINUED)
Description
The blue Sleep8 Sanitizing Filter Bag includes a built in charcoal filter, visible as a gray rectangle near the top, that enables it to safely process activated oxygen as it is pumped into the bag; and a round white air release valve that releases filtered air as it is used. The Sleep8 bag may, or may not, inflate during sanitation depending on how quickly air is passed through the filter and air outlet port.
Inside the Sleep8 filtered bag is where the magic happens... Once the Sleep8 device is connected to the Sanitizing Filter Bag, and the bag is sealed using the secure zip closure, all enclosed CPAP components (like masks, headgear and tubing) can be simply and safely sanitized.
CLEANING & CARE: The Sleep8 Sanitizing Bag contains a special filter that should be kept dry. If the bag becomes soiled, wipe it clean with a dry cloth. The Sleep8’s activated oxygen system fully sanitizes whatever is in the bag, as well as the interior of the bag itself. For optimal performance the bag should be replaced after approximately 3 months of use. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

.zipper comes off the bag
The zipper is not securely affixed to the bag. When a section pulls off, the ozone escapes from the bag, diminishing it's cleaning quality and "allowing" those nearby to inhale the ozone. It is impossible for a normal human being to reattach the zipper or otherwise mend it. This means you have to order a bag more often. Is this an intentional flow to increase their sales?

.Poor packaging degrades the product...
The poorly packaged product is clearly degraded by the numerous folds that cause permanent kinks in the bag material and the poorly constructed “zipper”. The useful life of the product is diminished.

.Bag problems.
Direct Home Medical service was great. The problem is the Sleep8 bag. This is the 3rd bag I've used in about 2 years. These bags tear easily and early at the corner where the bag opens/closes. The slider of the last bag failed after a couple of days. I improvised to make them work because the Sleep8 system is affordable and works well, except for the bags. I would recommend the product but with a warning about the bags.
