Air Outlet Adapter for AirSense 10, AirStart 10 & AirCurve 10 Machines
ResMed's Air Outlet Adapter fits on the back of all AirSense 10 CPAP, AirStart 10 CPAP & AirCurve 10 BiLevel machines. The Air Outlet Adapter must be properly installed whenever the CPAP or BiLevel device is in use.
USAGE: The Air Outlet Adapter should not need to be removed from your AirSense, AirStart or AirCurve sleep therapy device unless the adapter is damaged or needs to be cleaned. To remove the Air Outlet Adapter from your CPAP or BiLevel machine, press the release clip located inside the machine (where the humidifier chamber usually sits) and then pull the adapter out through the rear of the device. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

Bought 2 - one broke and the other didn't fix the leak
It is absolutely absurd that this piece is required to be removed when it breaks so easily. I am glad I ordered two since the first one broke immediately when I tried to insert it. I was able to get the second one in the machine correctly, however my leak rate is still too high. Resmed machines **** and I am still waiting to be paid by Phillips for my recalled machine. CPAP users are treated like ATM machines by these companies and then the items don't even work or do what they are supposed to do.
