.Second CPAP
I purchased this machine online as I am unable to climb stairs by myself and my bedroom is currently on the second floor. I purchased this machine to keep in the downstairs area so that II could take nap during day if necessary. IIt has been quite satisfactory except it keeps registering a red face for losing air when the mask is on. I am going to experiment with changing the tightness of the straps as I have no problem with the machine I have upstairs and it has the same mask.

.Sore Ears & Leaking
AirFit 30, small mask size, me: 5'10", 165#, nothing else unusual about my facial features. The air ports under the nose have to be set rather precisely and then hope they stay there all night. Also got a fair amount of leaking, esp. if my mouth had any movement, or I laid on my side. I was still constantly adjusting the unit after 2 mos. of use. If the straps are pulled tight enough to force the mask in place I ended up with the the straps cutting into the tops of my ears where they passed to where several nights I unknowingly ripped the mask off during my sleep. Very nice design re: the hose attachment/de-attachment at the mask frame, the magnetic attachments had their good aspects and some not so good.

The cushion is comfortable and airflow makes breathing through nose easier. Seals well around the mouth with no annoying leaks . Very comfortable. No irritation on bridge of the nose or forehead like full face masks. Would definitely recommend . Particularly for mouth breathers.

Needed a ResMed mask for the AirSense 10. This feels comfortable but air leaks at corners of my mouth and nose, and leaves a mustache rash above my lip. Size small might work better on the nose portion but size medium barely covers the edge of my mouth. We all vary on facial dimensions. It would be nice to have masks that are more accommodating.

I have spent hundreds on masks and tried about them all. I wish the F30 was wider and fit lower under my mouth, but they do not make a large size so I live with it. I have to use tape under my lower lip to prevent dermatitis breaking out on my skin due to the improper fit.

This mask feels comfortable but after few hours of Using it the pain on the bottom of my nose was unbearable. l tried to fit it 5 nights without any luck. One thing my air pressure is 22/18 which is very high so that may be a fact. The bottom line is that l had to return it asking for a refund.

Agree with anyone that says it leaks around the nose. Had to wear it so tight would wake up in the morning feeling like I was punched in the nose. Got 1 mask and headgear came with 2 extra cushions. Great deal if you can make it work. I didn’t even try using 3’rd cushion. Switched mask. Also head gear rubs ears. Will never use again, not even if it’s free!

Mouth opening is not quite wide enough for me. the seal landed right on the corners of my mouth. I do wear a Large cushion on my AirFit F20 mask. I ordered the Medium because no Large option is available. This mask may work better for someone with a smaller face.

.Measure Carefully
I have been using a CPAP with nasal pillows for over a year now. Was working well but I noticed my mouth was opening at night letting out air. So I decided to try the AirFit F30 mask. I have my mask about 2 weeks, when I first measured size it recommended a small. I used the small for a few nights and had way to many leaks. It was very distracting keeping me up. I was about to return the mask, but tried the extra medium mask that was included. It works good, the leaks are now minimized and I am getting used to the mask. Only problem I now have 2 small masks and only 1 medium...so I recommend you make sure your sizing is correct and try both small and medium to get the right fit.

I was hoping this would be the mask to end all masks. It's a great design except for the seal around the nose. If you could adjust the strap across the top, it would close the gap, but even at that the contours where it meets the nares needs better shaping to make a good seal. All other aspects of the mask seem great. This design just needs a little tweaking.

For years I wore nasal pillows, but then I got way too much leakage. Tried the air fit F30i, but couldn’t get a tight enough fit. (I’m dealing with very high pressures with BiPAP). My suggested the F20. That worked well for leaks, but was creating a pressure ulcer on my nose. So now F30. It works! It is not the most comfortable (dreamed I had a large, wet frog on my face), but it does the job. Really appreciated the two extra cushions, too. I can rotate them and always have one that is clean and dry. Service was great!

I purchased the Air Fit after doing the survey to get the correct mask I needed. I tried it for 3 nights in a row, adjusting the straps and head gear to try and get it not to not leak. No matter what I did, as soon as I moved it would leak again. After 3 nights of leaking and very little sleep, I gave it up.

I have struggled with a full face mask. It only fit correctly part of the time and it hurt the bridge of my nose. This "hybrid" mask is much more comfortable. On the first night (and all thereafter) it fit perfectly and caused no pain. CPAP is still an inconvenience, but it is better with this mask. Too bad it took me almost 10 years to find the right mask!

I'm glad I bought this mask (F30) I find it is a very comfortable mask and I can where my glasses with this mask just before I fall asleep. I had the full face mask F20 before. I get a good seal too. The head gear is one size fits all and it fit me tightly at first. I was wondering if I could still use the F20 headgear for the F30. (I didn't have one to try) The mask is a medium and fits perfect. I feel like I get a better sleep and no more sores on my nose from the full face mask.

i have tried 5 other masks before i finally realized the f30 was the only mask that leaks the least of all the masks! I am very disappointed that it doesnot come in a larger version. i place the bottom of the mask below my bottom lip and find thisis comfortable for me. some time during the night i start breathing through my mouth and the bottom of the mask is above my upper lip. this wakes me up! i would love for the company to make a large mask. a larger mask might alleviate this problem? i am going to go to a seamstress and see if she can sow a small chin **** the bottom straps of the mask to hold the mask down so it will not ride up during the night

The F30 is more accommodating to my particular face and comforts nicely making it comfortable to use, but movement during the night tends to make it leak. Part of that is because the hose connects to the front of the mask rather than to the harness at he top of the head as other harnesses do. However, overall it’s an improvement over most full face masks that I’ve tried.

Mask runs too small, it didn’t fit at all. I was not able to wear it at all.

.F30 Full Face CPAP Mask Pack with Headgear
Direct home medical was great. Fast delivery. I was very excited to get the F30 coming from the F10. I also purchased the F20 since they use the same headgear. The F30 just put so much pressure on my nose I couldn't sleep. I'm using the f20 and I like it better than the F10. I will try the f30 again and update this review.

.Best and most consistent seal that I have ever had!
Over the past 15 years, i have tried numerous masks and always leaned towards the hybrid style. Over the past couple of years, I mainly used the Amara View and then tried the DreamWear Full Face Mask, but with limited success. I was getting very frustrated with the frowny faces that I received every morning on my ResMed CPAP machine due to poor mask seal. I became convinced that I would never have a good seal. But, I saw the innovations of the cupped nose piece on the F30 and also liked the magnetic closures, so I decided to give it a try. Nearly two weeks later and great seals every night with a green smiley face on my machine to welcome me every morning.

.F30 All The WAY!
I've used older Resumed masks but this one is more comfortable and doesn't blow in my eyes. Love that it doesn't cover my nose!!!

The mask does not stay on the nose as it is portrayed. As much as you tighten the straps, the air flows from the top. Not all noses are alike. You need to supply buyers with a sealer of some kind to prevent the air escape on top of the nose. My husband had a Mirrage Quatro, and the escape of air near his eye has caused dry eye, and consequently by rubbing the eye he is now suffering from an ulcer to the cornea, very painful. I have used band aids to seal the air from escaping, and hitting the eye. Our son in law gave him a sealer made of cloth that he gets from Resmed. It's better than nothing. It's difficult to set up with the Air Fit F30. His is for nose only mask. I would not recommend this product unless a sealer is produced. I would appreciate a reply, and a reassurance that you will have such sealers for this mask. Thank you, Therese Dorsett

.Not The Solution
This mask is certainly not the answer to my sleep apnea problems. Not even close. More than likely I'll be returning it for a smaller one that doesn't cover my nose and mouth.

.OUCH!
Good Try ResMed: I'm a mouth breather and back sleeper. Hoped the F30 would do the trick to stop nose bridge breakdown (sores) caused by F20s and similar masks. Initially felt great. Third night with the F30 caused a bleeding sore under the nose at the upper lip. I run 22cmH20 and the straps can only be slightly loosened or the seal will leak (happens right under the center of the nose). I'm letting that heal enough to give F30 a last try before returning it. Gave it three stars instead of one as it MAY work well for those using lower pressures(?). <update> Tried it again; Buying it a ticket home..

.My hard to fit face found a winner.
Having high cheekbones is nice, but not when it comes to a CPAP mask. The AirFit F30, is super. It doesn’t touch my cheekbones! By getting the small size, I do not get any leaking. I use this mask as a mouth breather.

.High Hopes
After reading the description of this product, I was hopeful that it was just what I needed. Unfortunately, this mask slips and moves around a lot for people who turn frequently through the night. This, in turn, caused air leaks and noise that disturbed my wife. Regrettably, I will have to return it.

.First Night Great Fit No Leaks!
I was excited to try the new F30 hybrid mask. I have over 15 masks trying them all with or without taping my mouth shut. The F 30 worked the first time I used it @ Max 9 cmH2O with no leaks. It is a keeper. Comfort for a full face mask is better than most and not to have to tape my mouth shut is a bonus. This "Full Face" may be just what I needed to stay with CPAP therapy as the best treatment for OSA. Thank you, ResMed for creating it. Thank you, DirectHomeMedical for the excellent service and prompt shipment.
