.Just what was needed
I neeeded the proper cord to connect a newer CPAP machine to my older battery unit. The cord worked great. Unfortunately, the battery was underpowered for the newer unit, but that wasn't the cord's fault.

.Tip for Dreamstation 2!
The cord will not go under the machine (in the groove) like the AC cord does, but you can fit the DC cable plug in so that the cord goes out the opposite direction. As always, Direct Home Medical provides excellent customer service!

New Respionics Dreamstation 2, old Respironics battery backup, need new cord. I really didn't think I could get this cord since the battery pack is 10 years old and the cpap is brand new. Couldn't be much demand for it... No big deal for DHM. Now I have battery backup for camping!

Worked great when I bought a new battery. My old battery for my previous cpap did not work with the Dream Station so if you have problems like I did, just get an up to date battery. Direct Home Medical sold me a new one at a very good discounted price.

I have a Dreamstation Auto CPAP with a humidifier, but not the heated hose. I purchased the 12V DC power cord to use my machine at my off-grid cabin. The cabin has a 12V wiring system running off two deep-cycle marine batteries. The 12V power cord plugs directly into the side of the CPAP without any adapters and has a round automotive-type plug on the other end. Worked on my system without issue and did not appear to significantly increase the draw/depletion of the two battery bank powering the system. Overall, I am extremely pleased and satisfied.

Cost more than we had figured it should, but is the ONLY option we found that contains the larger sized adapter plug for the CPAP machine. The other end clips onto a 12v battery. Even with the amount of humidity turned down, we had to use 1 large battery/CPAP machine AND re-charge them every night.
