This is an excellent tool. I have been a CPAP user for 18 years and with this gauge learned much about why my CPAP therapy is not working well. Typically the machines are calibrated in the occluded condition with no connection to the mask or patient. When in use it is interesting to note that the prescription pressure drops about 10% when attached to a mask. I noted as much as a 50-60% pressure drop when I inhaled. This condition is aggravated by any form of nasal congestion. The only problem that I have encountered is in convincing either my Dr. or Respiratory technician that this is relevant!

.MANOMETER GAUGE ACCURACY
1) Easy to use 2) Accurate 3) Peace of mind that the CPAP is Functioning at its prescribed set point. 4) Wish it was cheaper. It is what it is. 5) Manometer liquid type too cumbersome & too much setup time + chance of spills.
