Description

SOFT CLOTH CUSHION
SleepWeaver Anew's dual-chamber cloth cushion inflates like a balloon during sleep therapy pressing gently against the nose and mouth to create a soft, leak free seal. Unlike the plastic and silicone of most CPAP mask solutions; high-tech SleepWeaver cloth cushions feel cool and dry, allowing the skin to breathe naturally, wicking away moisture, eliminating pinch points, and reducing pressure marks.

EASY TO LIVE WITH
The SleepWeaver Anew is super lightweight, durable and easy-to clean. To care for your Anew simply wash it by hand in warm water with a mild, non-abrasive soap and then leave it to air dry. SleepWeaver Anew is Latex and Silicone Free so it's great for allergy sufferers. It has been tested and approved for use between 4-30cm H20 on CPAP, BiPAP and APAP systems.

OPEN STYLE HEADGEAR
The Anew's headgear is designed to provide a comfortable, secure seal without requiring a forehead support or over tightening; in fact Anew performs better when the headgear is worn slightly loose. The open style of the headgear is ideal for people who wear eye glasses as it offers virtually unrestricted vision; it's perfect for people who like to fall asleep while reading or watching TV. Anew headgear is adjustable to a wide range of faces and is easily adjusted even with the mask on. Two quick-release clips make the SleepWeaver Anew easy to put on and take off.

LIGHTWEIGHT & FLEXIBLE
Like all SleepWeaver masks the Anew has no rigid plastic frame or silicone cushioning so the entire mask is free to flex, bend, compress and move with you as you sleep. In addition the Anew comes with a double swivel elbow so tubing can be channeled in any direction you prefer -- over the head, down the chest, or to the side -- so you can sleep your way without tubing interference.

QUIET EXHALATION
The mask's exhalation valve is made of a series of small holes on either side of the elbow so there is no direct stream of air to irritate bed partners and exhalation is very quiet.

JUST YOUR SIZE!
The SleepWeaver Anew is available in three sizes -- Small, Regular & Large -- to fit a wide range of users.

  • Needs re-designing!

I can see where this could be the most comfortable mask ever for side sleepers, but makes way too much noise from leaking. I could not get a good seal no matter what. Felt like it should have been one chamber instead of two, but maybe that would make it worse. I don’t know. I hate that I have to spend so much money on failures.

  • Only mask that works for me!

I have tried about EVERY mask on the market. With my Roman nose and sensitive skin they cause pressure sores even with any of the covers or pads. But THIS ANEW full face works. It's comfortable, little or NO leaks and easy to maintain. Only draw-back is that I'm on Medicare and some providers don't carry it.

Was OK the first night then it went down hill from there. Can not keep it sealed.

Comfortable, but snored loudly, just without apnea moments. Disturbed my partner significantly.

Light weight and simple but once the pressure rises it leaks.

  • Sleepweaver Anew Full Face Cpap Mask

Mixed reviews on this mask. It is more comfortable than the other 4 masks I have tried. It took a couple of days to get used to the soft fabric feel of the mask but it's better now. Problem is that when the air pressure is high, there is a lot of air escaping around the mask. My husband wakes me up to adjust the mask because the noise is so loud. I got the regular mask but probably should have gotten the small because I have to lap the straps to get a good seal. This mask is, however, much kinder to my face, not causing heavy marks on my face. My nose, however is sore every morning after wearing the Sleepweaver over night.

  • Comfortable mask

Great full mask for us side sleepers. Cloth flexes while contacting pillow without breaking the seal, keeps it from whistling and burping. Wife states it is much quieter then my Quatro mask. Can lift mask over the mouth to drink water, no need to completely remove during the night. Only complaint is price should be much lower considering materials used in construction.

  • Noisy

What seemed like a good idea turned sour. The mask is noisy--too much so--and the fit is not comfortable. I put it aside after an hour or so and went back to my regular mask.

  • Don't waste your money

The ONLY way I've been able to get item to not leak is by tightening straps so tight they leave marks.

  • Do not buy

No hose support means air gets cut off. Leaves raw nose in the morning. Major air leaks unless super tight and laying in your back.

  • fails to seal

The nose section does not seal at all. If I go to a smaller size to get the nose to seal the mouth section would not fit. I like the idea but does not work for me at all.

  • An XS size would be good

I like the feel of the cloth mask much better but I think it's too big. The mask flutters on one side no matter how tight I make it. Other than that it is more comfortable to wear at night.

  • Does not fit all face shapes

After using this mask for over 20 nights, i have to say it's light weight but i could never get the mask to stop leaking. I tried all the things I've learned over 30 years with Bi-Pap and nothing worked. So for me, this mask is useless.

  • Not for people with beards & mustaches

It's a nice device, clever and very light-weight. But the seam between the mouth opening and the nose opening slides up my 'stache and rubs the under side of the central part of my nose. By morning it feels bruised. I tried loosening it, but then the mask leaked all around the edges and air escaped through my beard. Great idea, seemingly well-made, just not for the hairy.

I've got two major bugaboos with this mask- it leaks air like crazy and the attachment points at the mask are no good. What were they thinking...? Alligator clips would have been appreciated.

  • Too much leakage

I was hoping to get something just a little better than the Elan, which I have used to fairly good results. Just needed a fullface. Way too much leakage, especially around the eyes, which aggravates meibomitis. I even tried it with Tranquileyes. That combination: my head felt like it was in prison! I think it is a good idea that just needs tweaking.

  • Louder than a standard mask

I was looking for a mask that was comfortable. Though this mask was comfortable to ware it proved to be annoying. It was much louder than the standard mask that I am currently back using. This mask also felt like I could not breath. Yes, I tried to adjust multi pal time and still could not fall to sleep. After 15 min of noise I changed back to my un comfortable mask. I guess you could say comfort and the loud hissing from the air releasing from the cloth mask was a waist of money and sleep.

  • Sleepweaver Anew

I am new to CPAP use,a confirmed side sleeper and mouth breather. The Anew allows me to bury the side of my head into a pillow and for this I am grateful.I am not sure I would have stuck with the hard plastic type but have done over two months with the Anew averaging 8 hours a night. Some nights i have no leaks, some nights i have many leaks. I found with this mask you have to go more by how you feel the next day than by leakage. I adjust it so it is quiet. if it is not quiet I assume the adjustment is off. Some times i find that changes during the night. I do flip my sleeping side during the night. You can't necessarily get an accurate fitting until you lie down with this mask. the side sleeping must block some of the leaks. For me, this is the mask leakage or not. Contrary to others I do get imprints on my face and i have tried using different head gear. I always seem to revert back to the one it came with. I wish they had put whiskers or animal faces prints - it would make the mask so much cuter to wear!

  • Had high hopes

This seems like a great design. We had hoped it would be the answer. But it did not seal on my husbands nose, tried two sizes and even the extra light hose. It just pulled off his nose and blew the air right out.

  • Best Ever

Once I got to know how to get a good seal, I can't think of ever going back to another mask. I don't feel like I have a mask on my face. It just takes a little time to get to know the mask well.

  • Skeptical at first...but really like this mask

Are you like me, and feel like all of those nose breathers have an advantage? Well they kinda do...but our "Combo Breathing" options are expanding. For me, this mask has been the best...so far. It is really comfortable. I do not get lines on my face in the morning or feel like I have giant cup stuck to my head all night. The average leak rate seems to be a bit higher, and it can take some adjustments to get the mask to fit well around the nose (I get a some air leak on occasion-and no it's not the "kind" of air leak you just thought about.) Anyway, I like the mask, and have continued to use it...even after the 30 day trial.

  • A good idea that doesn't work for me.

This mask design has a lot of pluses. It is very comfortable and light. Being soft it is not as obtrusive as a hard mask and would allow you to sleep on your side. With that said and as much as I wanted this mask to work, my anatomy isn't of the same proportions as the mask design. This made a seal totally impossible even though it was a perfect size. I will continue to monitor this manufacturer for future design enhancements that might make it a viable option again.

  • Didn't Work for Me

I thought this would be a more comfortable mask, but I was wrong! It just didn't work for me! I was awakened several times during the night because of the air billowing out from all sides of the mask. And yes I watched the video and followed the instructions to the letter. I was very disappointed n the product.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE

I am new to the C-pap experience and am a mouth breather. I tried the hard plastic mask and HATED IT!!! It moved around when I moved and woke me up numerous times. Left marks on my face. I decided to try the SleepWeaver Anew and I now have hope that I can meet compliance and use this mask in comfort ALL THE TIME. I am thrilled with the results!!!! I hope they make it in the leopard print SOON!!

  • Comfortable But Leaks

It is very comfortable and I like it, but can't get it to seal. I leaks mostly around my nose but also on the sides of my mouth if I lay my head sideways on the pillow. The connections for the strap are not very well designed and have to be snapped in. My other mask has a much better way of attaching the straps to make it easy to remove them.

I bought this mask thinking it would be light an flexible which it is, but it leaks everywhere. It is also uncomfortable between the lip and nose because of the rough material.

  • SleepWeaver Anew Full Face CPAP Mask sizing chart

Be aware that something seems incorrect on the sizing chart. According to the chart, I ordered a small (which seemed very odd to me, as I am 6' 4" tall). I did return the product (with absolutely no issues w/ Direct Home Medical). I have not re-ordered yet but I really suspect I am going to need a large. I believe the manufacturer has made an incorrect entry of the size reference(s)?

  • Best mask ever fuhgedaboutit

I tried nasal, full plastic face masks, all horrible experiences. This brilliant innovative technology works for me. I sleep mostly side and stomach. Whatever position, it conforms well. It's a shapeshifter mask. Extremely comfortable and easy to clean.

  • Great Idea but lacking substance

  • FABULOUS FULL FACE MASK

the SleepWeaver Anew Full Face CPAP Mask is nothing short of fabulous. It's so much more comfortable than the other two masks I have used: mouth-only mask and full face Quadro mask. Thank you immensely to the engineers/designers of this SleepWeaver mask. It is an solution for anyone who is struggling with other masks as I have done.

  • sleep weaver full face mask---help me

I got it and used it just one night. It did not work. I woke up very tired and irritable. The thought of a soft ballon type mask is wonderful in theory. In practice it's a dud. If anyone loves it as I hoped I would I am all ears?

  • Comfortable!

For almost a year and a half I have been trying various masks. The bridge of my nose is narrow, and this caused leaking in all masks, resulting in over-tightening and bruising. Since I am an occasional mouth-breather, nasal masks were not an option. My face was always marked with blotches and my nose was bruised to the point of pain. When I saw that Sleepweaver had made a full face mask, I decided to try it as a last resort. Much to my surprise I found it very comfortable. I first ordered a medium size, which was too large and caused leaks. I ordered a small, and it fits perfectly. I can now sleep on my side with no marks and no leaks. What a relief! The mask is light and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who has problems with a hard mask. Or to anyone who would like more comfort!

  • best full face mask I have tried

Wanted a full face mask for times when my nose is stuffed up. Already a fan of Elan SleepWeaver so was excited when I saw the Anew had come out. I love the soft fabric and fit and use it quite frequently. My quibbles are that I am still getting used to the plastic clip to release the band - it is not as easy to connect when putting on the mask as I would like as I have to futz about a bit to line it up. Also seems to exhaust air more towards the eyes than the other Sleepweaver products. With closed eyes its not an issue though so this is also just a quibble on a very nice product.

  • Good idea, poor execution.

I was excited to try this product as it looked good in theory. However, when I tried it the first night I found it to be far noisier than my usual mask (I wear the Hans Rudolph 7600 V2 Full Face). I also found it impossible to eliminate all leaks and I felt like my machine was blowing at twice its usual strength even though the settings were not changed. On a positive note, it is very light weight and does not come close to my eyes.
