One of DreamWear's most exciting innovations is the soft frame that directs airflow through two silicone tubes to join at the nasal cushion. Because the frame is soft it adapts naturally to facial contours without pinching or pressure points; and it will accommodate almost any sleeping position.
If you sleep on your back DreamWear distributes therapy air through both tubes equally. If you shift onto your side DreamWear's lower tube compresses to maintain a comfortable seal without pressing into the skin; therapy air is channelled into the open, upper tube maintaining an unrestricted airflow at prescribed therapy levels. Optional soft fabric wraps can be wrapped around the tubing for extra plushness!
UNDER-THE-NOSE NASAL CUSHION
The DreamWear mask's nasal cushion rests under the nose, providing airflow to both nostrils without actually inserting into them or exerting any excess pressure. Because of the cushion's low profile design there is absolutely no contact on the top of the nose or at the sensitive nasal bridge. Exhalation ports on the cushion, and in the mask's elbow, quietly disperse excess air.
UPDATED, MORE SECURE HEADGEAR & TUBING ATTACHMENT
DreamWear features soft, single strap headgear that rests at the back of the head, stabilizing the mask without requiring over-tightening or excessive contact. The tubing elbow is located on the top of the head where it can swivel freely to help reduce drag and clutter on the bedsheets.

I like the fitting around my nose much better than the nasal pillows but having the hose come out at the top of my head is not ideal because it wants to pull forward even though the fit size seems perfect.

.Not as comfortable as expected
So the actual head gear is not the problem. It fits just fine.....it's the nose piece. With it being one giant whole....the bottom cuts the underneath part of my nose, leaving a sore between my nostral's. Tried a different size.....still hurts and now air flows over my nose. Lol. I'll try a different kind.

The mask itself is soft and pliable and is a decent design. The straps are hopeless. Most especially the strap that goes around the back of the head. Once it’s on the mask it’s way too short and is impossible to use. I have a piece of elastic holding it together as I have been told by customer service that there is nothing that can be done.

Converted to the DreamWear mask after using an ResMed P20 nasal mask for many years. I find the fit to be excellent, lightweight, and comfortable. Less noise and less facial marks in the morning are also positives. I tried to use a nasal pillow mask but hated it- bad seal, not comfortable. I am about two weeks into use and don't see a reason to use any other mask. My sales transaction was smooth and effecient and provided an excellent value.

.The materials and design in the mask has been changed recently.
I have been using the Dreamwear Nasal Mask for several years. When I just reordered, the product I received has changed. The plastic is light and the design changed. After trying for several days, the product is terrible. The nasal piece moves around and it leaks air. Very disappointed that we consumers were not informed that this mask has had major changes.

This mask was recently changed, you added arms to the sides probably in hopes to keep the back of head gear from slipping up. The problem is that where the arm attaches above the ear you have created a square hard plastic connection and it digs horribly into side of my head causing pain.. So bad that I had to Frankenstein items from old head gear so I had something to use. Id like to have the choice of when you bring something new out to use not change everyone's to the new when the prior one was not causing any issues. New isn't always better.

The band in the back slides up and the mask comes off. No matter how tight you try to put it, it slides up. I have tried several ways, but it's not staying in place. I had to go back to my old mask, sorry

When you try to remove this mask from your head the plastic connectors that connect the tubing to the headgear get tangled in my hair so when I pull it off it pulls out hair or I have to spend 5 minutes trying to untangle my hair from it. I hate this design.

.Nice Concept, but…
The very first day I really liked the mask…no problems. The following days have been rough, no doubt. I wear a small and the mask is still too big evidently. It starts off in place under the nose and slowly creeps up overnight covering my nose and sealing my airway off...no airflow. Unfortunately my BiPAP doesn’t alarm unless there is a leak detected. Therefore, I am not receiving any air through my nose or my oxygen which is attached to my BiPAP during this time. If the company could design an extra small or come up with a solution to that problem the mask would be great. Otherwise, all I am getting is BiPAP fatigue from constantly trying to adjust the mask so I can breathe. I am claustrophobic so a full face mask seems daunting to me. I have tried the nasal pillow mask and the small was too big for my nares. So that is not an option. Any advice on how to keep this mask in place would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am disappointed by not having the opportunity to choose the size of the nasal pillows. Instead, one each S, M, & L is given. For the price that is paid, I believe that I be afforded the right to select the size I choose. Other than that, I am enjoying the mask. How do I order the size I desire and need?
