I have used this mask for many years, wearing out several. I run CPAP pressures of 20 and 13, and this unit contains them. My cheeks are sunken with age, so I use the Small size (with padding I invented!) I've tried many others but, as I'm a "mouth-breather I require a full mask. This one does the trick.

Mask seems to work pretty good EXCEPT for the SIZZLING Bacon sound ALL NIGHT LONG -- when mask is pressurized and being used. Very ANNOYING - Sizzling noise . Is this something that can be fixed? I use the ResMed Quattro and this one was also a suggestion. For the price I tried it. The forehead piece is not comfortable and the cushion is so thin it’s almost ineffective. And because I didn’t make a user profile, I’m finding it difficult figuring out how to return it.

.Wasn't a good fit for me
It took me 5 minutes to realize this mask was not a good fit. My pressure is quite high, so air leaks are a problem with any mask. With this one, the cushion would vibrate when the air was leaking, accentuating the discomfort. The cushion is shallow, so getting it tight enough to stop air leaks fully compressed the cushion and was painful. In short this was not a good fit for me.

I have been sleeping wit a cpap for 14 years and have used a few different masks. This mask is the only one I couldn't wear. It is very painful especially on the bridge of my nose. The cushions are so thin, they may as well not exist. Be forwarned.

.Not what you would expect...
This thing is bulky and unwieldy. The mask is difficult to use and uncomfortable. Getting the lower straps clicked in requires patience and dexterity. If you want to disconnect in the middle of the night, you have no unhook and remove the mask unless you want to drag the pump with you. Unhooking to hose is a drag and is supposed to be done by releasing a small circular clip out of a groove in the front mask elbow. If it pops out -- you have to find it and reinstall it. If you break it, you are done for. A hose quick disconnect may make it so you can unhook the hose easily, but it will have to add it to the front elbow assembly. There is a rubber outflow plug in the top of the mask that vents air out. Even at a low flow rate it vents too much. During exhale it often whistles. The rubber plug comes out easily as nothing holds it in other than tension. If if pops out it -- you have to find it and stick it back in. Read the PDF users guide as it shows the assembly and disassembly of all of these pieces. What a pain. The head strap is the only redeeming feature. I like the quick disconnect clips, but not the way they attach to this mask.

.Great Alternative to Mirage Quattro - Leaked At First, Easy Fix
My Mirage Quattro broke, after several years of use. I jury-rigged it for several months but it leaked air and the strap would not stay on. So, I got a new script from my doctor for a new mask. It arrived (as promised within two days). It arrived fully assembled and I tested it out. The reviews said it was noisy and leaked. Sure enough, I noticed it was, in fact, noisy and leaked air...the first night. As a result, the first night was NOT restful sleep. The next day I closely examined it and discovered the swivel adapter was not correctly seated together. So, I disassembled by separating the retaining clip and removing the swivel adapter completely from the mask. Then, I corrected seat the silicone insert and reassembled the unit together. I tried the mask on and voila...success. NO more air leaks and minimal noise. If you buy one of these, plan on disassembling the swivel adapter from the mask and reassembling it correctly. Its not a huge deal and requires about 5 minutes and no special tools.

The Ultra Mirage replaced a ResMed F-20 Full Face Mask I was using. The head gear of the F-20 was my primary difficulty. It was too narrow causing stress on the back of the neck. The wider Ultra Mirage head gear is superior, however, the F-20 mask is more comfortable, fits better and I experienced less "bypass" air leaks.

Great Mask at a great price. I've had problems with a lot of masks causing skin irritation/infection on my nose due to excess pressure from the mask, but not from this mask. I've used this mask for two weeks now without any issues. Other masks raised issues within days. This mask is one of the only mask with an adjustable section at the nose to ease the pressure. I used this for years until my prior company stopped providing it.

I have tried 4 different types of face masks. I found that the medium size face masks were too big, but it was hard to find a small in the type of mask I wanted. I even tried a nasal/mouth mask. They all leaked at some point in the middle of the night. I am very happy with the small Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. I have been able to find a perfect fit with some adjustment. It is so nice to have a mask that does not leak or rub the bridge of my nose raw.

.Good But Could Be Made To Last Longer?
Everyone's anatomy is different so it is expected that no mask will be perfect for any given cpap user. I am a veteran of cpap, have tried them all and for me, this mask fits the best with the least leaks. What I like is the clips for attachment, and the fact that I can purchase JUST THE CUSHION when a replacement is needed. However, the cushions only last about 3 mos. tops and it is expensive when you have no insurance coverage for cpap supplies. I don't understand why the plastic cushion on these are not made deeper, because if you sleep on your stomach or even over on your side quite a bit, the cushion is shallow and thus the pressure on you face from the hard plastic base of the cushion can actually cut your skin. I wish the manufacturer would make them deeper.

This is my third mask of this design. I use it because it is very comfortable and easy to adjust. I have found it to be very durable and easy to take apart and to clean. I try to keep a new one in reserve in case the one I am using develops a problem. My first mask lasted 5 years of daily use and I am now using my second mask, with one in reserve.
