Description

FitLife is a great solution for sleep therapy users with facial hair, sensitive facial features, dentures, nasal bridge breakdown, facial irregularities, or claustrophobia.

The FitLife creates a robust seal around the less pressure-sensitive perimeter of the face to avoid disrupting the wearer's view. Its advanced headgear with easy-to-use snap clips and EZ Peel tabs simplify application and removal. Because pressure and flow inside the mask are equalized, eye irritation is minimized. Built-in radial diffusion leak ports -- in the mask's elbow -- deflect exhaled air away from the bed partner and provide quiet operation.

^features~
  • Large surface area equalizes pressure and flow inside the mask, minimizing eye irritation
  • Available in three sizes, the Large FitLife fits most users. The Small size is available for petite users and the ExtraLarge size is available for users with larger faces
  • EZ Peel headgear tabs allow for quick, easy adjustment and removal of mask and headgear
  • Headgear Snap clips simplify putting on and taking off headgear so that there is no need to refit after removal
  • Perimeter mask seal with soft silicone cushion fits quickly and evenly for maximum comfort
  • Entrainment elbow valve triggers access to room air if therapy pressure drops below 3CM H2O
  • Unique radial diffusion exhaust ports deflect exhaled air away from bed partners and provides quiet operation
  • An In-line pressure pick-off port allows for pressure measurement or O2 bleed in

  • Almost Perfect

Download the template, download the template, download the template. Just order the next size up. Fit is almost perfection, but. The same issue of leakage many expressed, occurred slightly. Easy fix. There’re cpap sealing gels, aloe based and boom. hypoallergenic. Non greasy and easy cleanup. Fit life, hey, just the quality of the gasket and add a few pennies. Your right there, just improve the gasket. Done.

  • Positive Review for the Fitlife Total Face Mask

I've been using CPAP for almost 5 years. I used nasal pillows at first but they worked poorly for me; I could never get a seal with them. Nasal masks worked better but pressed down on my nose and blocked the airway. I finally tried the Amara Gel mask that covers nose and mouth and used it for several years. The reason I decided to try the Fitlife Total Face Mask is because the Amara Gel mask was causing a sore on the bridge of my nose. It took me a few nights to get used to the total face mask but it works as I hoped it would and seals well for me. I doubt if it would work well for side-sleeping people.

It didn't work for me. Leaked when i rolled over

  • Works for me

CPAP masks are a personal thing. No one mask fits everybody, which I guess is why there are so many to choose from. The FitLife works for me. No leaks. None. More comfortable than the traditional full face masks I've used. And I can sleep on my side. It took me a week to get used to it and to dial in the fit and pressure; that week was rough. But I stuck to it and since then I have slept well through the night. The mask does leave marks across each cheek, but they aren't bad and they go away, especially after a shower. I can see why this mask has received some shaky reviews. It's big, a bit heavy, different looking, and if one's face is shaped differently than the mask's seal, then I imagine that leaks will be an issue. All I can say is that I am glad that I took a chance on this mask. It's the best I've used so far.

  • #NAME?

Have tried many CPAP masks over many years. Have suffered with leaks, skin irritations, bruising, ulcers on bridge of my nose. Was recently recommended I try the total face mask. I need high pressure, consequently, the pressure causes the mask to "blow out" and make high squeeling noises. I have been unable to locate any CPAP mask liners for the total face mask. The clips on the head gear are hard to snap into place. This mask definitely is not for a side sleeper as the forehead part of the mask is not conforming to the shape of your head. The straps leave marks on my face that do not go away. The upside is that I am receiving a little more sleep than with other masks. Basically, this mask is a good idea, but needs some tweeking.

  • Mask never sealed correctly

I could not get a good seal when laying on my side

  • Best CPAP maskm I've used

It fits my face and doesn't touch my nose at all. The mask even seals around my oxygen cannula.

good quality, but causes my face to sweat. wish I had choosing another type

  • Good Quality Bad Experiance

I found that this mask is very well made, but the mask could never seal around my face, no matter how tight I tried to tighten the straps the mask would leak air all night with a loud burping/farting noise that would wake me and my partner up. The Mask feels like a big Marshmallow on your face, and when I exhaled into it, it would inflate more and loose seal on my face, I also had issues when exhaling into the mask, that sometimes it would plug and not let the exhaled air out, causing it to burp/fart from the sides of the mask.

  • Just did not fit....

I ordered the small because of previous size orders. The picture gives the impression that the whole face is covered. Suggestions for ordering need to emphasize careful measurements. The small must be for children.

  • More comfortable. Better seal

I like the mask. It seals better and causes less irritation of the nose and eyes. However, the closures to the head gear are hard to fasten and sometimes come apart in the night

  • Just not for me I think

Well construction though it could of used another cushion layer to minimize leaks. Had a big issue left forehead area but no matter what leaked if I moved my head at all. I'm sure this ma u work for other people but not me.

  • FitLife

I have used this mask for several years and have found it to work well for me. I am a mouth breather when I sleep, with this mask I am able to keep my mouth and nose in the same device so I have a close system. Chin straps never worked for me.

  • A unique mask

I really wanted to like this mask. I tried it and found it gave me a headache and it burped all night. Now....let me add that I am used to using liners Remzzz and such but could not find one for this mask. Maybe that would have helped. The mask is very well made and if you can find a way to deal with the burping, especially if you have claustrophobia (I don't have that but this mask gives you a lot of room between mask and skin), you might really like it. I tried it because of the 30 day trial period. I was able to return it without a problem but I really to like it. Everyone is made different so I guess you don't know until you try it but I would encourage you to do so if you are thinking of it. It is a very unique mask.

  • tried 2 sizes, neither will seal

I desperately wanted this to work because I get air blowing up my tear ducts. The template said that the large would be too small for my face so I got the XL. No amount of tightening or piling pillows on my face for weight would allow it to keep a seal so I tried the L and it was the same way.

  • Trying another size

I bought size large - ordered XL-Hopefully works.

  • TOTAL FACE FIT LIFE MASK WITH HEADGEAR

Although this mask is well made, I couldn't get it to seal especially across the forehead area. Fit well everywhere else. In order for it to seal well, had to over tighten the straps, which then caused me a headache. Like I said, it is well made and may fit someone else better.

Nice mask but the seal needs gel and the strap hooks need a redesign .

  • Great Mask!

I have tried at least 8 masks. This is the best. I can keep it on all night. I was pulling all the other masks off during the night. It is large and completely covers my face. I don't feel panic and it does not leak air when I change positions. I'm a cpac user for 15 years, and have experimented with everything because I breath thru my nose and mouth. This is the mask for me. I'm sleeping thru the night now. Only had it two weeks. I am very, very happy.

  • Good but could be better.

This is the best and most confortable mask I have tried, but like the other ones having the mask tight under the lower lip makes your teeth hurt after a few hours, I will suggest that this mask should go under the chin like the avatar masks, that will make your mouth close and will keep in place, I will also put more cushion around the mask, to much leak on the sides and top.

  • Exclusive!

I recently purchased a Respironics Fit Life Full Face CPAP mask to replace the full face mask I was using (traditional style). I especially wanted a departure from this style as it was severly marking my face as a result of tightening to avoid leaks. The Fit Life rests on the perimeter of the entire face to distribute the facial pressure. The mask does this beautifully. My problem was this: I ordered the wrong size, based on previous mask sizing. I contacted DHM and they arranged an exchange to the correct size. As I say an exclusive benefit. I based my evaluation of the mask using the exchanged size and could not be happier with my purchase.

  • A great mask!

I tried the nasal mask and my mouth would open up and dry out. I tried the (full face) mouth and nasal mask and my eyes would dry out from the air going out the inner edge of the eyes. I was scared to try the total face mask thinking my wears might leak and my eyes might be too dry. Well, neither of those happened. So far it is the best mask I have tried, but I will be trying the other total face mask these people sell, just to be checking things out. Reviews are not so hot, but I do not hear well so the biggest complaint - that is noise - will likely not bother me. I will let you know on a future review of that product. I will also probably try the Provent therapy a bit. These things all add up in cost, but our health is priceless.

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS AVATAR

this reminds me of the masks that they wear in the movie Avatar so that they can breathe the air on the planet. It works great. I sleep much better.

  • Size an issue

Small was too small. There is no medium. The large is too big. This variation was a major issue. It is an excellent concept but the manufacturers need to think about those of us in between, especially a woman's face vs a male face.

  • This mask is a God-send for anyone suffering from pressure sores on their nose

I have tried every type of mask for open mouth sleepers and this is the first one that doesn't give me pressure sores on the bridge of my nose. I no longer dread wearing the mask. Well worth the money.

  • Good mask

This mask would be perfect if it was cooler inside the mask, thats about the only bad thing I could say is bad about this mask.
    Written by Ken S, 2013-01-24
  • Not perfect but better than many of the other styles

I had tried three different styles of full-face masks (that cover the nose and mouth) and found that there was very little difference in being able to get them tight enough without leaking. I eventually resorted to using a spare head strap worn over the mask backwards to give pressure over the area where the masks leaked most. There was still a problem with leaks and I would have a marks on my face for a good part of the day after waking up due to the tension I needed. But then I was told about the Fitlife mask. It still leaks, which I found out when I tried one during a sleep study. However, it is much easier to get it tight enough to not have major leaks. The velcro on the head gear is a major issue if you need to have the straps tight. I found a solution my weaving the straps through the mask slots and using buckles off of a pair of old worn out sandles. This mask also leaves marks on my face...a ring around my entire face. I think it would be better if it had some sort of padding inside the silicone edge similar to the comfort gel full-face mask. I sleep on my side and even on my stomach and rarely have any problems with the mask other than how tight I need it to be. I do wish it were a bit wider as I have a bigger than average head. But, over all this mask is far and away better than the other 3 I have used.

  • FitLife is a good mask for mouth breathers

It arrived very quickly and I was excited to try it out. And Direct Home Medical had a really good price on it, Thank you DHM! It is a comfortable mask as far as fit, no major pressure applied to face. If you have a problem with the mask leaking on the forehead, you can use a sweatband sold in sporting goods to add just enough pressure to keep it from leaking. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that is stays a little warmer in the mask than I like. But, I also don't use the humidifier for the same reason. So, If your comfortable with the heat from the humidifier, then the mask shouldn't bother you. But if you have a problem with feeling a little to warm in a FFM, then you will have a hard time with this mask. I am also a side sleeper, and haven't had a lot of leaks while sleeping on my side. At least no more than any other full face mask. I usually lay my head on the edge of the pillow and let the mask hang over the edge. If I can ever get used to the warmth of the mask, this is the mask that I will use as long as I have OSA. I believe this would be one of the best rated mask on the market, if they could find a way to keep it a little cooler inside the mask! Maybe instead of venting right beside the intake, they could spread the vent holes around the perimeter of the mask to help move the air inside the mask a little better.

  • Fine Fit

I received the FitLIfe Total FAce CPAP mask with Headgear just fine yesterday. However, the small connecting tube from the mask to the tube was not there, so I had to use my old one, as I was not able to remove the connecting tube from the old connector to the mask. Other than that, just fine.

  • The best mask I have ever bought!

This one fits!I finally am getting at least 6 hours of good sleep a night. What a relief! I can finally wake up not dead tired. The mask fits my face beautifully, and there are no leaks. I am a mouth breather, and up until now I had not found a mask that works.
