I have been using this mask for a long time now. I don't currently know of a better mask. One thing I don't like about this mask is the swivel. It binds as it turns in the mask. It wakes me up in my sleep. I wish F&P would redesign it. I wish it had a slip washer similar to the old Comfort Classic mask. That mask never would bind.

.Just a bit away from perfection.
I've been using this mask for nearly two years. I've tried a number of Nasal style masks over the past 5 years of CPAP use. List: Wisp, Dreamwear with pillow and dual nasal insert type, Pico, Wisp, and this one F&P Eson 2. My favorites have been the Wisp, F&P Brevia, and this F&P Eson 2. These Wisp, Pico, and Eson 2 are very similar in design and function. Overall this Eson 2 works better for me over the Wisp. I used the Wisp for nearly two years, until I tried a number of other nasal type masks, and that's when I choose the Eson 2. The Eson 2 is my favorite, and I use it exclusively. Compared to the Pico and Wisp this Eson 2 is slightly quieter overall. However, there is a bit more "sound" when inhaling, but just a bit more compared to the Wisp. The Wisp is also very quiet in use as well. Overall comfort goes to the Wisp. And the Wisp leaves the least amount of strap marks on my face. The Eson 2 leaves more strap marks. I tend to sleep on my right side about 80% of the time, and there is always a distinct strap mark on my right cheek that lasts for about half an hour. The greatest negative of the Eson 2 is that it leaves a red mark at the top bridge of my nose, and that mark can last a couple of hours, sometimes a bit more. The odd thing is that what is causing that mark. Where the mark is is where the top of the nasal mask rests. However, the mask if very pliable/squishy at that spot, with no hard part at all. That's why I find it very odd that it leaves such a deep and red mark that lasts too long. I've tried all kinds of adjustments to see if I can stop the mark, but no success. I wish that F&P would figure that out and fix what is causing this. I really like the Eson 2 a lot as it is quiet and especially because it leaks only rarely as it stays in place very well even when I turn to sleep on my other side or back. And when an occasional small leak happens all I need to do is slightly adjust my head on my pillow and it stops with little to no sleep interruption. If F&P could find a way to make a mask like the Eson 2 that didn't leave such a noticeable red mark at the bridge of my nose, then it would be PERFECT. As it is, this mask is almost there for me. I give it a 5 rating, but it's really a 4.75, as it could use a bit of improvement.
