Description
A Column Pair (Sieve Bed) must always be in place when the InogenOne G4 is in use. Sieve Beds will wear down after prolonged use. In most cases G4 Column Pairs need to be replaced every 18-24 months; however in certain operating conditions earlier replacement may be required -- your G4 will let you know when it's time.
USAGE: Column Pairs should only be replaced as needed. When replacement is required the InogenOne G4 will alert you to the need with a Low Priority Alert reading "O2 Service Soon". This alert means that the columns should be replaced within 30-days. Column replacement is a simple process, that can be completed at home, without any special tools. For full instructions see the "Column Change Procedure" section of Chapter 6 of the InogenOne G4 User Manual. It is strongly recommended to purchase this item for immediate use, not for storage.

It was very easy ordering. But (yes there's always a but) No one told me when I purchased my G4 that I would have to replace the columns. After spending $2000.00 I thought 99.00 was outrageous. Of course I had no recourse, I had to come up with the 99.00 or my machine would be worthless. Sad state of mind, once you purchase you'd think you were done. Of course, I love the machine, and Direct Home Medical is very good at what they do. Package arrived very fast. Excellent company to deal with.
