Description
The clear, lightweight Salter 1600Q Cannula incorporates a unique one piece anatomical design that eliminates the need for irritating flaps. The 7-foot supply tube includes a three-channel, crush and kink-resistant design; while the over-the-ear style head set ensures secure positioning, allowing for more freedom of movement without worrying about shifts or oxygen loss.
USAGE: This cannula is disposable and should be discarded and replaced when it becomes soiled, discolored or the prongs become stiff. For best performance cannulas should be replaced at least once every 14 days. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

.Hurts my nose and not that soft.
I looked at the pictures and this look like a small close together canula. It was neither. Also they won't take them back open, which I get but it costs more to return than to keep. Back to amazon for me.

Looks identical to other cannulas, but was way quieter. I bought because the wife is up to 4lpm now and the sound of the air through the standard cannula they provided was so loud we couldn’t sleep. We can’t barely hear the air now

Bought these for my mom, she's had this type before. Bought the package of 5 so, it was a good deal money wise. The problem is they are not as quiet as they should be. We have purchased this brand because of how quiet they usually are. This batch is very gurgle-y sounding which is not typical for the 1600Q

I really like these. 7' seems too long when walking around, but my 3' ones are to short when setting my Concentrator down while standing. I wish someone would make a roller that could be attached to the strap that is spring loaded so you always have the perfect length. As far as this product, These are very nice. They aren't very loud when breathing and are very soft when fresh. I change mine out about every 14 days. The only problem I have is that the nose tubes need to be a tiny bit further apart and maybe just a tiny bit longer. I would recommend these!

Fat bulging piece under nose and drops off all the time especially at night while a sleep. Poorly constructed crimp piece on neck piece that holds cannula on face. Stiff hard tubing against face.

I just purchased this cannula, and as advertised, it is quiet. I hear absolutely nothing. For that, I give it 5 stars, and would give more if possible. The only difference, as the information said, it IS slightly larger than my regular cannulas. However, I'm hoping I will not feel this difference after I've worn it for a while.

.Quiet and comfortable
This model is quieter and it's nice not to be listening to the flow while trying to go to sleep. It is also softer than some I have tried and thus more comfortable for nighttime use. And, for me, the cannula fit is just right and also comfortable; no irritation there either. I don't use an oxygen service since I researched and found that most of them are really gouging Medicare. A machine is only around $700 and having Medicare pay $250 a month (for 3 years) is simply outrageous; not to mention that the cannula supplied was miserable. The price on this website is extremely reasonable, and the product is preferable.

The Salter 1066Q is a soft comfortable cannula that is easy to wear 24/7 with very limited irritation and it doesn't get stiff and harsh on the nose for a long time several days making them last longer.

The cannula did not have the necessary coupling/insert. I don't know if there is something I missed in ordering. The ones supplied by a commercial service with the concentrator had them. I took the necessary coupler out of theirs.

It is the quietest yet! I only use oxygen at night, and usually about 3 a.m. I cannot tolerate the noise any longer and throw the thing off. With this quiet one I wake up at 7 a.m. refreshed and not a single noise. It is the very best that i have found.. and glad I went on the internet instead of settling for the ones from the Oxygen place.

I am new to using oxygen and order the 1600Q 7ft. cannula that was recommend with my unit. It is a lot more comfortable than what came with the unit and does not kink. So far very happy and was very happy with Direct Home Medical help with my ordering.

.Pretty Standard, yet has shorter curved prongs on cannula
Very happy with these as the cannula prongs are shorter and curved whereas some cannulas have too long of prongs plus they are straight so ride high up into the nose...very uncomfortable, makes me sneeze, which fills nasal prongs with snot...yuck. These do not cause that.
