Philips Respironics Heated Tubing Conversion Kit for PR SystemOne "60 Series" Heated Humidifiers (DISCONTINUED)
Description
After your machine has been upgraded with Heated Tubing the Heated Humidifier will be able to deliver more consistent and higher levels of humidity, with less rainout, than machines with non-heated tubing.
COMPONENTS: This Kit includes three primary components: A Conversion Lid with an electrical pin connection that matches up to connections on the DS6H humidifier base during installation; an 80-Watt power supply to replace the 60-Watt power supply that was originally supplied with your machine; and a Heated Tube.
COMPATIBILITY: This Upgrade Kit is designed specifically for use with DS6H Heated Humidifiers. It cannot be used with any other heated humidifier or CPAP & BiPAP machine. Once you've upgraded your DS6H humidifier with the Conversion Kit your humidifier will be able to use standard or "60 Series" Heated Tubing as needed.

.knowing whether you have a 60 series - remstar system one
I just ordered the conversion but had trouble confirming whether I had a 60 series or not... booklet, paperwork and manual doesn't refer to a series... Denise at "Direct Home Medical" via the chatting feature was great and confirmed that I do have the 60 series as I have a "Remstar System One" machine with a heated humidifier. For the newbies-like me: On the bottom of your main machine it'll state Ref# 560. This indicates that you have a 60 series. My attached humidifier has the following ref# DS6HFLG. This can also be used to confirm if you have the 60 series as you will need to replace the lid and connect the wiring to the inside of the humidifier.

.Simple kit with all the essentials!
This conversion kit is perfect for the Respironics System One, Model 60 series. First, be certain that you are using a 60 series and that can be discovered by the model number. It MUST end in 60! Now with respect to the kit . . . All the essentials are included; you need nothing more. There is a cover that replaces the cover on the humidification unit. No tools are required to make the switch. The cover has an electrical connection that fits perfectly into a receptacle made for this connector; it only fits one way. Therefore, the user cannot make a mistake. A heated hose is included and that, too, only fits one way. Because of the extra power needed, a new electrical adapter is also supplied. You don't need an electrical engineering degree to make this swap. The conversion can be accomplished in minutes.

This kit is great. It was so easy to install, I couldn't believe it. Warms the tubing so well. You don't need to use the heat on a very high setting. It comes with nice flexible tubing. Everything you need. I recommend it.
