The worst thing I can think of about DHM..... Is MY ignorance!: I didn't know about them before purchasing my in-home and portable Oxygen units years ago!!!! Now, I buy all of my nebulizer systems (in-home and portable), masks, tubing, as well as my O2 tubing, canulas, connectors . . . EVERYTHING from Direct Home Medical. I try not to miss nebulizer or O2 accessory supplies on sale, though it's hardly necessary. I already have an Innospire Elegance in my bedroom, my den, the guest bedroom at my daughter's, one in her family room, and a spare in my pantry ---- just in case. My Traveler stays next to my front door. Even if we have to drive for nearly an hour and a half, stay for 5+ hours, enjoy lunch and make the return trip home. . . I will Never Again miss my grandson's Track & Field events (He's a middle schooler running with the High School team ---- DD, that's me!, is too proud!)! With the Traveler's charger that plugs into the lighter outlet in my daughter's car, I am ready, y'all. My car has AC and DC outlets (and, my Traveler has AC and DC charging cords, perfect), so Christmas shopping in the big city, a day on a sugar sand beach, graduations, weddings..... everything ---- here I come! But, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I feel so very beaten down by today's retailers, salespeople and 'customer service' personnel. I grew up walking into my hometown's stores where the sales people knew my name and I never felt I had been mislead, lied to, or suffered 'retail abuse!' Good Lord! Mr. Bassett in our town's best department store, could tell ME at Christmas what my Daddy needed! "Now, Debbie.... he's up on his jackets, but he could used a couple nice pair of casual slacks for out of the office.... and, my dear, you know somebody besides your daddy needs to pick out his ties!" . . . and he was always right. . . because he genuinely cared about his customers. But, those days are gone.......today, I feel as if I have been used, abused, sc***ed, tattooed and blatantly robbed by the time I get to my car! Today, especially older folks on a budget need to make sure they are dealing with reliable professionals, selling quality merchandise who respect their needs. That is why I appreciate DHM. They state the facts as they are. They have customer service personnel who are knowledgeable, personable and MOST IMPORTANTLY ----- for those old enough to need quite a bit of their merchandise ---- PATIENT! Have mercy! You're not going to find knowledge or patience in the massive "get 'em in, get their money, get 'em out" stores. DHM customer service personnel ARE actually CUSTOMER SERVICE personnel ! They will place what you need above what they want to sell you whether to need it or not! If you have not used DHM before, the customer service staff alone is worth a visit! I DO believe in shopping local with a ferocity (!) ----- but, quite frankly, I believe in good, old fashioned honesty, quality products and service above all else.
