Description

AUDIBLE LEAK DETECTION ALERTS
While your Luna II QX is in use if a leak is detected; the machine will sound an audible alert after 40 seconds of detection to wake and notify you of the leak. The LCD screen will also display a "Leak!!" message.

RESLEX EXHALATION RELIEF TECHNOLOGY
Turning on RESlex Exhalation Relief enables your Luna II QX to automatically detect your respiratory rhythm and reduce pressure in the mask during exhalation; making you feel much more comfortable. RESlex can be used at a setting of off, or 1 (lowest setting) to 3 (highest setting).

BUILT-IN HUMIDIFIER
Heated humidification helps patients to sleep better and longer, without dry mouth or discomfort, during APAP therapy. The Luna II QX Auto's Humidifier is built directly into the machine so it is much smaller and simpler than other "integrated" humidifier options. You can turn humidity off completely or choose levels from 1 to 5, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 5 is the highest.

3B LUNA QR MOBILE APPLICATION
Available for iPhone, iPad & Android; 3B Luna QR app lets you take your compliance data with you wherever you go. Once the app has been downloaded to your device; simply scan the iCodeQR that is generated on your Luna II QX device. Within seconds a summary of your compliance data is saved into your app and is accessiable whenever you need it!

Very much a quiet and effective machine. Previously I had purchased a different one which was supposed to be better than my System One, but that one only proved to be even whinier...by far. This Luna II QX provides excellent flex, but surprisingly the fan doesn't change it's RPM. Instead, it seems the machine somehow adjusts for flex while the machine noise is constant. Don't bet me wrong, the machine is super quiet...quieter than the two machines I've already mentioned. The pressure is also interesting in the way that it seems to not be as strong as the prescribed and set level, but using my manometer on my old machine and the Luna II it reveals that they are identical. So somehow, I don't know how, the Luna II is easier on my breathing rhythm and I'm using the same mask and hose. Every so often a smidge of snoring might occur, whereas with my prior machine I would break into a mild snore and shortly after recover to normal. This machine seems to be one that provides CPAP therapy, but in addition it provides ease of therapy by making CPAP easier to tolerate. The auto-start is amazingly responsive with just one inhalation. I don't use auto-off, so turning off is accomplished by pressing the turn knob, but you have to press it twice - not a big deal at all. It truly is a wonderful Machine and well worth the low price. The only thing I'd note as not optimal is the either/or with filters. You can use either a foam reusable filter (comes with two) or a disposable ultra fine filter which costs about $2+ dollars each. I suspect that price point may improve as more of these units are sold.
