Description
AUDIBLE LEAK DETECTION ALERTS
While your Luna II is in use if a leak is detected; the machine will sound an audible alert after 40 seconds of detection to wake and notify you of the leak. The LCD screen will also display a "Leak!!" message.
RESLEX EXHALATION RELIEF TECHNOLOGY
Turning on RESlex Exhalation Relief enables your Luna II to automatically detect your respiratory rhythm and reduce pressure in the mask during exhalation; making you feel much more comfortable. RESlex can be used at a setting of off, or 1 (lowest setting) to 3 (highest setting).
BUILT-IN HUMIDIFIER
Heated humidification helps patients to sleep better and longer, without dry mouth or discomfort, during APAP therapy. The Luna II Auto's Humidifier is built directly into the machine so it is much smaller and simpler than other "integrated" humidifier options. You can turn humidity off completely or choose levels from 1 to 5, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 5 is the highest.
3B LUNA QR MOBILE APPLICATION
Available for iPhone, iPad & Android; 3B Luna QR app lets you take your compliance data with you wherever you go. Once the app has been downloaded to your device; simply scan the iCodeQR that is generated on your Luna II device. Within seconds a summary of your compliance data is saved into your app and is accessiable whenever you need it!

.The humidifier I can't seem to get to work right. On 4 it leaves moisture in tube but 3 I feel dry when awake?
I am happy with the unit other than the humidifier because I sleep with mouth open and need some moisture. Setting 4 seemed to be what I needed but moisture was in the tubing. So I went to 3 no moisture but my mouth feels dry upon awaking. Thanks

.Luna II Auto CPAP, positive experience
I've been using the pump for about 3 weeks and it has been working fine. I will be seeing my doctor soon and we will go over how the usage has been. I presume he will also check to make sure the settings are ok. When the pump arrived, it was all in one piece (phew!) and all the components were there. The manual and flyers were with it to help me check all the settings and put them where they needed to be based on my Dr's diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. I have previously worn half-face respirators in my earlier career, so wearing a full-face mask (really, a "full-face" mask should be something that covers the ENTIRE face, which I'm sure there are such models, but mine was not one of those) was nothing new to me. What WAS different was the way the pump administered and regulated the flow/pressure. THAT was different and I basically had to learn how to breathe with that. I also re-checked the settings (there is a setting for adjusting the pressure when you exhale) to make that more comfortable. If I'm not mistaken, this pump also learns how the patient breathes and adjusts the pressure to still maintain the programmed pressure (ranges) and adjusts for the inhaling/exhaling. So after about 5 minutes of "awkward" breathing, it is more natural and I'm more relax anyway. Any rate, so far so good. The doc will let me know his 2-cents in another week. I hear that it takes a couple weeks or so for the body to respond to the treatment, so I'm hoping that this will add back years. I hope that this thing works as long as the warranty says it should.

I replaced my CPAP with the same model I had previously. I think an electrical surge took it out. This machine is the least expensive out there and every bit as good, as far as I can tell, as the more expensive machines. It transports well too.

i find the free mask to be comfortable, its the siesta. the machine is very quiet my wife doesnt even hear it. the airflow of the auto setting is very comfortable to breathe with as well. this is also my first cpap so take it for what its worth.

My Luna 2 is absolutely excellent. I got my Luna 2 to replace my Philips coat, which was only one year old, but disappointing. I knew that Medicare would not get me another cpap for 4 more years. Rather than have to use my Philips dream station for that long, I chose to buy a Luna and pay for it myself. The results? It was worth every penny. It surpasses my Philips in every respect; well, except for Philips being small and easy to travel with.

Humidity is set at 3 and hose fills water and makes loud noise. No heated hose. Also, the APP that comes with this machine is very basic. No graphs so you have to review each day to see any trends.

.Big, Clunky, Loud, I hate the hose.
The AirSense 9 is overall a much better machine for me because the hose always makes a noise when I breathe in and that annoys me. The design is needlessly wasteful of my entire nightstand. I just find it annoying because the AirSense is better in every way for me.

.Great replacement for my Philips DreamStation!
So I had a DreamStation and we all know that story so I bought the Luna II to replace. I received my Luna from Direct Home meds on time and set it up . The set up was easy and this machine is very quite! The settings are easy to figure out, I set my ramp Min and Max and time no problem left it on auto mode and slept like a baby !!! Very happy with this machine !! I would have given 5 stars the only issue I didn’t like is the hose mounted on the back of machine otherwise I’m very pleased to have a replacement that works I would say even better than my DreamStation! Thanks Direct Home Meds for all the help and quick delivery!!! John Pic
