THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
The OxLife Independence combines the power of a home oxygen concentrator with the convenience of a portable unit. For home users the Independence provides Continuous Flow Oxygen up to 3 LPM 24-hours-a-day 7-days-a-week. For users on the go OxLife offers extended battery life and Pulse Dose Oxygen delivery at settings up to 6 (96 mL). At home or away the OxLife Independence concentrator delivers convenient, portable oxygen 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a week without ever needing to wait for deliveries or rush home for refills!

BUILT TO LAST, DESIGNED TO MOVE
Unlike most plastic portable oxygen concentrators, the OxLife Independence is proudly designed and manufactured in the United States. The OxLife's durable metal frame and magnesium case offers exceptional strength and durability for independent, active lifestyles. Integrated 6-inch wheels and a sturdy, folding metal handle provide extreme agility and easy portability without the hassle of bags and bulky carts.

POWER TO SPARE
The OxLife Independence comes complete with AC and DC power cords and rechargeable batteries. ALL SETTINGS, both Continuous and Pulse Dose, can be used regardless of the power source in operation. The Universal AC Power Supply, with built in voltage converter, allows you to plug in to wall power in most countries around the world. (A plug adapter may be needed outside of North America.) The DC Power Cord can be used for plugging into the "cigarette" style outlets found in most cars, boats, vans, and other vehicles. OxLife's two integrated, removable, rechargeable lithium ion battery packs provide extended power for use when you're out on a walk, on a plane, or any time you're away from a fixed power source.

With two batteries installed the OxLife will last up to 6 hours away from fixed power sources. If a battery runs low you CAN "hot swap" batteries, while the concentrator is running, to extend time away from a fixed power source without ever missing a breath of oxygen therapy! If installed OxLife's batteries will take over automatically whenever AC or DC power is removed; and when AC or DC power is restored installed batteries will recharge automatically.

EASY TO USE & UNDERSTAND
The OxLife Independence sets a new standard for convenience and ease of use for oxygen patients. Four simple buttons control the machine's primary functions, and a large, intuitive LCD screen provides visual feedback and information to assist in operation. The screen even changes color: turning yellow or red to warn users when it is time to change the battery or if service is required.

OPTIONAL DYNAMIC NETWORK ANALYSIS (DNA)
OxLife's exclusive Dynamic Network Analysis (DNA) is an optional monthly service available directly from O2 Concepts. With DNA your new OxLife Independence POC becomes a thinking, learning machine that helps more proactively support your oxygen needs. Over its lifetime, DNA enables your machine to learn usage patterns and environmental conditions; while software updates further improve your machine's efficiency so it evolves with you. DNA software tracks usage, ambulation, and breath rates, giving updates on the key information to help you manage your condition. In addition the DNA network can remotely monitor your POC to ensure it is performing optimally and alert you if any maintenance or software upgrades are recommended.

Just got mine yesterday. Very happy! Great air flow, gives enough oxygen when asked. You can use it either way, continually or on demand. All the bells and whistles you need to enjoy your day.

Arrived via net day shipping. Took a little time to get batteries fully plugged in to unit and charging, but since then it is a real nice unit. There will probably be a 1-2 day period to get familiar with the nit, so I suggest you order early in week to avail yourself of calling vender (can't do this one weekends) whose personnel were most helpful. Lots of capabilities

I bought the Oxlife Independance to travel. I tested it and went to St. Thomas from Orlando with the it Feb 2019. It worked like a charm. It is easy to roll through the airport and fits under the seat easy enough. You can not hear it in the airplane. The (2) two batteries lasted almost 2.5 hours on 2 ltrs continuous flow. So far so good! I travel to Rome on a 10 hour flight in October. Need more batteries for that flight (150% is needed). It is a little loud while sleeping on continuous flow, but that is why i put the machine in another room when I want to sleep, when I can. Just make sure you have a long hose with you.

I have this concentrator but wanted another one incase one of them had to be taken away to be serviced. I find it to be very quiet during sleeping hours, unlike the Homefill system which is extremely loud. It is also good for travel,

So far not so good. Maiden voyage to the mall and the wheel fell off and the batteries died before I even got started. I just went home. Next day I went to see the kids 30 miles away and it all happened again. {Tire and batteries) However, in all fairness, the good people at Home Medical in NH promised to send me new batteries and a thing to secure the wheel. I need this machine for airline travel and Hope and Pray it will work out for me. This is a first for me so I am a little anxious. They had an awesome deal and I have heard a lot of good things about the POC and Direct Home Medical.

Concentrator seems to work fine--but is very very loud. It has to be put in a separate room with door closed to allow us to sleep. We have a standard unit via insurance and it is much quieter than the Oxlife.

I have used this concentrator for a few years now for travel. It is an outstanding machine -- built like a tank, reliable, and very consistent O2 output. I trust it because it is so well built and able to take the abuse that traveling places on it (I have drug the thing through city streets, around Disneyland/Disney World, on cobblestone sidewalks, and even on short hiking trails. I like things that are well built, and this is certainly a well-built machine.

Very nice machine. The advertising claims are all true. My previous experience has been with bottled O2 and a full size concentrator. The machine is much quieter than the full size concentrator and my wife was not able to notice any sound from it while we were watching TV. Yes, in a totally quiet room you can hear it. I'm absolutely delighted at the advantage over bottled and the portability seems even better than bottled. With the handle folded down it fits under a restaurant table easily. Another feature (not advertised) is the ability to run on 12VDC. That means a large deep cycle battery is likely to run this for quite a while. Might be a good emergency backup for here in hurricane country. The only issue I've had so far is wanting a "rain coat" for it.

Have not yet had an opportunity to use the portable concentrator for an extended period of time, and not really sure I want to. This machine is so loud that it's impossible to have an intelligent conversation outside one's own head. Disappointed...

Probably one of the most compact continious flow / pulse concentrators on the market. Reasonably quiet at 2.5 continious flow. Large wheels and solid handle makes it easy to move around, particulary up and down stairs.
