I am on an ASV ventilator 24 /7 and need battery backup for when I leave for appointments as my insurance won't pay for trilogy for me and this battery is a really amazing product. The only downfall I can say I have seen is the plug in slot for the adapter needs to be a bit more secure and tight to keep from coming out. It holds charge like it says, and runs my vent for me perfectly.
Power Pack Really Did The Job!

I camp for two weeks every August and this year I required my Bipap machine in order to make the trip possible. I purchased the Battery pack for my Phillips Respironics machine and it powered it for four nights between recharging (I had access to a power source for recharging). There were no surprises and the Bipap machine operated without any hitches. I highly recommend the battery pack for anyone needing to use their machine off-grid.

Hey Respironics, you would expect lithium batteries, not sealed lead acid.
An excellent product, very well constructed.

I used this battery for three successive nights before recharging and had steady full power on all three nights. As suggested in the instructions, I did not use my humidifier. I live in an area with occasional power outages, so want always to be prepared and be able to use my CPAP. The carrying package the battery comes in is very well made. I urge users to read and follow the charging instructions carefully to insure you get maximum life from your battery and that it is always fully charged when you need it. This will take a bit of effort and attention, but will be worth it.

I've been using this monthly since 2009 (5 years, now). I charge it when returning from a camp-out, and again prior to the next departure. Always provides 2 nights of energy, without the humidifier. Only wish - I'd like it to be lighter in weight.
Love my battery pack

I can not sleep without my Respironics Bipap machine and started searching for a battery pack so i could continue camping with the Scouts. This thing goes with me whenever I am in the woods and three years later, it still works like a charm! I used it this past weekend for two nights without having to recharge it and probably could have used it for a third night. You have to remember to turn off the heating plate on machines that warm water in a reservoir and to store the battery upright.

Was very excited to receive this product. Our son can't go without his bipap at night so knowing if power would go out we still have piece of mind he will be able to still use machine.

Finally after getting all the information as to how to run this battery, don't leave it plugged into unit when not using and turning off the heater on my humidfier, the battery performed for two consecutive nights without any problems. As this information was available in the fine print on the Web site I guess I should have read this more carefully. My only suggestion is that a pink sheet or red one should be included in the box that it came in on top so that older people like myself will not miss it.................
DOES NOT HOLD A CHARGE

I PUCHASED THE BATTERY PACK 3 YEARS AGO. THE FIRST TIME I USED IT THE BATTERY LASTED FOR 2 NIGHTS BEFORE NEEDING A CHARGE. SINCE THEN I HAVE USED IT ON 5 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, AND THE BATTERY HARDLY HOLD A CHARGE FOR A SINGLE NIGHT. THE LAST TIME I USED IT, I CHAGED IT ON MY PORTABLE GENERATOR FOR 8 HOURS. IT DID NOT LAST ALL NIGHT. PRETTY DISAPOINTING. NOTE FROM DIRECTHOMEMEDICAL: For best results batteries should be fully depleted and recharged on a regular basis (every 2-3 months). Batteries should always be stored upright.

I received my rechargeable battery pack (very quickly), plugged it up until it indicated the battery was full and used it for 2 nights and found I still had battery life to spare. As a 24/7 oxygen-user, I depend on my C-Pap to help keep good things flowing. This battery pack puts my mind at ease in case of a power outage...and that's a very good thing!
Camping sleep at last!

I am delighted with my CPAP battery pack. B/c I am at level 13 on my machine, I can only get one full night's sleep per charge; not quite enough to get a second full night. Left it charging each day at the campground ranger station. Too heavy for back packing but great for campground use!
great for campnig!!!

I used it for the first time camping and it worked great! It lasted for 8 hours and appeared to have allot of life in it still. I am very happy with this product and would reccomend it to others.

How do you use your CPAP machine when camping out with your kids or grandkids or during a power outage. I bought this Battery Pack for my youngest son. Now he can take my mildly autistic grandson on his Cub Scout camp outs. Direct Home Medical is easy to buy from online. They ship quickly and this Battery Unit was about half of recommended retail price.

I purchased this battery pack to us when camping at State parks that do not allow generators to be ran after certain times at night. I found out that this fully charged battery will last me for about 14 hours or for two nights use. It works very well!

The ballery pack worked out very well for my Bipap dependent patients. It gives them the freedom whenever they leave the house, knowing they have 8-10 hours of usuage of their Bipap.
