Received the Airfit P10 with my initial CPAP machine during my newbie orientation to CPAP. Since then I have tried the Tap Pap nasal pillow device and the Swift FX with ear loops on my own. I keep coming back to the Airfit P10 due to its unbeatable comfort. Tried the other 2 just because I was trying to get away from any head strap. The Airfit P10, at least for me can be strapped rather loosely with just back strap barely at my crown (thinking of cutting of loose front strap) and still have a stable great seal. The pillows only have to lightly rest against my nose for good seal . It is super quiet and the exit air is miraculously gentle so that even my husband never feels or hears it.
Rough start with the Airfit P10

I am only 37 days into my CPAP Therapy, and have severe sleep apnea. I started with a full face mask, which was very painful on the bridge of my nose, and a week later went to the Amara Vew, which did not work out well for me. I ordered the P10 hoping that this would be the right mask for me. I received and started using my Airfit P10 for her, one week ago. The first night was a nightmare when I woke up feeling like my body was a balloon filled with air--hurting all over. I let air escape through my mouth as much as I could to try to get rid of the air that was trapped in my body because this mask was not letting me fully exhale. It was a scarey experience for me. I went on the Sleep Apnea Board Forum the next day and found out that this was a common problem with the Airfit P10. I did not want to give up because the mask itself was so comfortable, so I read the many reviews on the forum. Consensus of opinion was that the problem was when the micro fine air release vent would get clogged up, and cause this problem especially when wet. This made sense to me because I had washed the nose pillows and the vent only a couple hours before my first use. It seems to take many hours for the vent to dry out, so I have since been washing the components first thing in the morning and leaving them to dry all day. I also do one other trick that I read on the forum: Prior to bed I put the mask on (unattached to the machine). I take a deep breath through my nose and before exhaling, cover the bottom of the hanging hose with one hand while putting the other hand in front of the vent, then exhale as hard as I can. I do this 4-5 times to make sure air is coming out of the vent. This has helped clear the vent. I even notice that the vent puffs out a little after doing this (less compressed). I also turned my humidification down from 5 to 3. These steps seem to have solved the issue for me, and I have been enjoying restful sleep with my Airfit P10 for the remaining 6 days. I tried both the small and medium pillows and both work for me, but I seem to favor using the small. I will report again after 30 days.

Last month I learned my current mask was discontinued after 10+ years. It has been challenging because nothing came close to the design with nothing touching my face since I have rosacea. After trying 4 different masks I found this one was a winner. It did not irritate my face and I was very happy. It's easy to clean and that was a bonus.

I am so happy I chose this mask. It fits great. I don't even know it is there during the night and that is what I expect from a nasal pillow mask.

I did not find this comfortable, felt like I could not breath. I switched to a Resmed full mask, much better for a moth breather!!
I feel MORE rested!

This mask works great with the Resmed Airsense for Her. I do use a chin strap as using them both together makes for a better sleep. I am finding no air leak problems now. Thank you!
Don't even know it's there

I still use my Breeze head gear, but love the Airfit because the nasal pads are attached, and never flip out of position into a dark crevasse when I recklessly take it off. In addition the Airfit IS soft, and so quiet. One person reviewed it several years ago, and said that it started to leak after a month. I have central apnea, so I just need the reminder to breath, and even if it leaks it's still fine, it's just quiet compared to the Breeze, when it leaks, and it's so soft on my nose!. I have just one of these, as I wanted to test it, so I'm ordering two new straps. My fear was that they would break while I was traveling. These are so small I have reduced the size of my carry on luggage. I am used to traveling with two Breezes, because if they break you can't fix them, and now I won't lose the nasal pillow and even if the strap breaks I have a small one that fits anywhere to replace it.

The most awesome nasal CPAP I have ever owned. Quiet, fits well, and easy to take care of. Wish this was available years ago!

I have tried many different types of masks and nasal pillows and the AirFit P10 is the best so far. the head gear sits very lightly on the face and the straps stay put all night. I move my head around a lot and the more complicated head gear rides up on the back of my head and then I get a leak. If I could get less pressure from the nasal pillows that would be even better, but you need some for a tight seal. I'm buying another one for my travel CPAP, [Transcend].
AirFit Nasal Pillows mask

I have been using this mask for a couple weeks now. There are some things I like - very lightweight, don't feel any pressure on my head. Doesn't crush my hair as badly as others have. (I am a female with shoulder length hair and usually end up with "hat hair every morning"). Just worried the straps might stretch out and be too loose. I am not in love with the setup with the nasal pillows. It is a little big and bulky. When I first turn on the machine it sometimes feels like I cannot breathe. I usually have to adjust it a few times to feel comfortable. I have had a couple nights where I have woken up with both nostrils blocked up. I am thinking it is the position of the nasal mask in my nose and that it is blocking up my sinuses.
